Zoning Board of Appeals

 

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets upon request. They interpret the zoning text/map ordinance, determine appeals, reviews applications for a variance, and requests for change of nonconforming use.

Dan Fishel is the current president for the Council. As president he also serves on the Roscommon Downtown Development Authority and the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Jon Suvada Jon Michael Suvada is married to Sharlene and together they have a son Jon. He has been a resident of the Village since 2006 and is retired from Ford Motor Company. He is involved with RoscoTravelers Golf, and the Ye Olde Golf League. Jon currently serves on the Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals.

June Karjalainen is a lifelong resident of Roscommon. June is on the Cemetery Board of Trustees, Zoning Board of Appeals, Roscommon Area District Library Board, and was the Higgins Township liaison to Roscommon Metropolitan Recreation Authority.
