Facade Program

The Village of Roscommon Downtown Development Authority, in cooperation with Chemical Bank, North Central Area Credit Union, and the Higgins Lake-Roscommon Chamber of Commerce, presents the 5-5-5-5 Grant Facade Program.

  • 5     $5,000 Grant from DDA
  • 5     $5000 Loan through Chemical Bank or NCACU
  • 5     5% Interest rate
  • 5     5 Year Amortization

Have you been thinking about improving the outside of your business? Here’s your opportunity. The DDA is partnering with downtown property owners to enhance the beauty and charm of the downtown area.Matching funds are available for commercial facade improvements with a reimbursement of 50% up to $5000 for an approved storefront renovation.

Examples of Eligible Projects

Signage, awnings, exterior painting, window, door, and storefront restoration. Items such as landscaping, normal maintenance, and up-keep are excluded.
